Service Description

A tutoring consultation is the initial meeting (or call) between a tutor/tutoring organization and a parent or student to: Understand the Student’s Needs – Gather information about academic strengths, struggles, learning style, and goals. Assess Fit – Determine whether tutoring services are the right match for the student. Explain Your Approach – Share how our teaching methods, and what makes Eminence's program effective. Customize a Plan – Recommend a tutoring schedule, focus areas, and strategies tailored to the student. Discuss Logistics – Go over session times, costs, policies, and next steps before starting. It’s basically a “getting to know you” session for both sides—like a job interview, but for learning—so that the parent/student feels confident in moving forward, and have the right info to deliver results.
